How to Make Homemade Bubbles

You can make really simple homemade bubbles with this easy recipe. Kids love blowing bubbles.

Here are some ideas for easy bubble-blowers:

Clean, empty aluminum cans of different sizes

Straws

Slotted spoons

Clean fly swatters

1/4 cup liquid dishwashing detergent

3/4 cup cold water

5 drops of glycerin

Mix together and store in a tight-lidded container.

Bubble Necklace

You can make a bubble-container necklace for your toddler to wear!

What you need:

Small empty container such as a film container

Bead

Yarn

Pipe Cleaner

Bubbles

What to do:

Glue the bead to the center of the container lid, making sure neither hole is covered and set aside to fully dry.

Decorate the container with stickers, permanent markers, or other items.

Cut a piece of yarn long enough to make a necklace that will fit over your child’s head when the ends are tied together. Thread one end of the yarn through the bead and tie the ends together.

Make a small bubble-wand the pipe cleaner – bend one end into a circle.

Make the wand short and small enough to fit into the container.

Fill with bubbles!
